Local Projects

Project-led greening

Ten projects were developed by members of our community greening forum, some of which (e.g., Funafloat and Pocket Forest) had already been in the early stages of conceptualisation before Mapping Green Dublin began. Other projects were developed through the engagement of the MGD team with the community. The projects that have emerged focus on:

  • Inter-generational greenspaces
  • Canal and walkway activation
  • Small projects with big impact
