Following the completion of the tree canopy assessment, we can now present the first complete canopy assessment for the Dublin urban area. Large spatial disparities are evident, with clear areas of abundant and absent canopy cover. The next step will be to overlay this tree canopy cover information with deprivation data, to identify if deprived areas are also impoverished in terms of tree canopy cover.
